Biography:
During my medical training, I did my internship in different department: medical and surgical and I was also working with the department of pediatric of the teaching Hospital of Brazzaville in a school based program to conduct systematic physical exams among kindergarten kids to detect any unknown disease and physical malformation and conduct a campaign of immunization.

During medical school, I was involved in a large program of sexual education, Family planning and Malaria treatment with the NGO "Medicin d' Afrique" in the city of Brazzaville. During my last year of Medical school I worked on my thesis which was about the treatment of Femoral fractures induced by gunshot during the Congo civil war of 1997.After defending my thesis, I graduated from medical school in 2001 as the class valedictorian and received the Government award then I began working as a physician in the Intensive care Unit of Teaching hospital of Brazzaville for two years.
Research Focus:
My interest in women and child health led me to enter into the Master degree program at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. This fall will be my second academic year and I am planning to graduate the coming spring. My research questions why modern contraceptive methods are not widely used by women in Brazzaville.
