Environmental Management / Mexico
I was born in Mexico City and have been living in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua since 1975. I had spent my entire life in that border city which is considered as a twin city of El Paso Texas. I studied the bachelor degree in Administration in Ciudad Juarez Institute of Technology (ITCJ) and then I studied an information access qualified course in the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The most significant positions I have held have been: Assistant Director in the Academic Affairs Directorate of the Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez (UACJ) and as an associated technician at COLEF, where I am pursuing a master's degree in Integral Environmental Management.
I hold a masters degree in Public Health and need a semester to complete a degree in Environmental Engineering. These studies have provided a great deal of experience and help me see more clearly the connection between health and environmental fields.
My professional goal is to get more involved in scientific work focused in public and environmental health, particularly in children's diseases resulting from the combination of poverty and the lack of public services and infrastructure. I am planning to pursue a Ph.D. in Public Health.
