Research interests:
The social history of Africa with a focus on the people who were internally displaced by the Zimbabwean Liberation struggle (1965-1980) and fled to the towns and cities. In particular the relationship between gender, the use of urban space and physical environment in Harare, Zimbabwe between 1939 and 1980.
