Clementina studied as a chemical engineer at the Instituto Technologico of Tijuana. Her research area is the environmental management of dangerous and abandoned industrial waste: the case of the Metales y Derivados company, Tijuana, Mexico. Clementina believes that no coordination exists to address the problem and that a management mechanism would help in solving the issue.
