Ahmadou Bamba Diop

I am a national of Senegal where I did my undergraduate studies in Environment and Cartography. I graduated from Duke University (North Carolina) with a Masters in International Development Policy. I got a second Masters in Conservation Biology at the University of Wisconsin where I taught Biology and Zoology as a TA. I worked in West Africa with an International NGO (IUCN) creating and managing protected areas and I have done extensive research on wildlife conservation in Southern Africa, Mozambique, South Africa, and Zimbabwe. Before enrolling in a Ph.D. program in Wisconsin, I worked with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and the World Bank at Washington DC. I am focusing my Ph.D. research on the management of Transboundary Protected Areas in West Africa.
