Mohammad Arzaghi
Mohammad Arzaghi is a fourth year Ph.D. student in Economics at Brown University. He is from Iran. He has been in the United States since 1996. His training background includes BS in Telecommunication Engineering (Tehran University), MS in System Engineering (Institute for Research on Planning and Development, or IRPD), MA in Economics (Virginia Tech), MA in Economics (Brown University). He has more than five years of work experience. His last position was in The World Bank. He was a member of the core team that prepared the World Development Reports 1999/2000. He is currently in a stage of dissertation writing and working on a few papers. His current interests are on the effects of surrounding environment and social variables on the productivity and well-being of the workers. He has worked on issues such as fertility, poverty, environment (global warming), institutions, and development.
