Arthur Mugisha

Arthur is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation, at the University of Florida. His area of study is "Evaluation of Community-based Conservation: The Management of Protected Areas in Uganda." Arthur has a Bachelor's degree in forestry, from Makerere University, and a Masters in Rural Resources and Environmental Policy from London University. Arthur works with the Uganda Wildlife authority (UWA), the institution that is responsible for the planning and management of protected areas in the country. He serves as a director for field operations and has worked in the field of natural resources managment for 11 years. Arthur is married with two children. His goal is to serve the poor and the marginalized.
