Yazon Gnoumou

Yazon Gnoumou has been an Engineer of Hydraulics and Rural Equipment from the Inter States Engineering School of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, since June 1983. After six years working in the Ministry of Water, for rural water supply in Burkina Faso, I went back to school for a 12 months specialization in Hydrology at the International Institute for Hydraulics and Environmental Science and Technology (IHE) in Delft, The Netherlands. After my specialization, I returned to Burkina Faso and worked with the Ministry of Water and Environment until my departure for my studies in the Institute of Environmental Studies, Land Resources Program, of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in January 1996. I graduated for my Master of Science in Land Resources in June 1998 and then, started my Ph.D. program. I am married and have a daughter and a son.
